Beyond the Eight Count

About Savanah Haughton

Savannah Haughton began dancing at the age of two under the direction of her parents, both studio owners and artistic directors. Her early training led to numerous regional and national competition titles. Savannah was a member of the Stetson Top Hats Dance Team, performing at nationally televised events and appearing on ESPN. Savannah has worked at several studios across the Central Florida area including; Raise the Barre Dance Company, Harwood-Watson Dance Studios and Preps Dance Academy. Currently, she continues to teach and choreograph for Dehner Elite Arts in Deltona, Florida.  While dance was her first love, Savannah’s passion for helping others ultimately led her toward the mental health field. A proud “Double Hatter,” she earned both her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Stetson University. Savannah is now a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern (RMHCI) and the CEO and founder of The Green Ribbon Project, where she works to expand access to compassionate, trauma-informed mental health care and psychoeducation within underserved communities.
